My real estate career began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I was a student and worked on a residential construction site after classes, for company named Southland Trace LLC.  They built large neighborhoods, with seven basic models of houses.  Mother Nature brought about hurricane Katrina and caused an enormous population shift from New Orleans to Baton Rouge.  Thousands of displaced families were looking to purchase new homes.  We were extremely busy.

The Economic Crisis of 2008 delivered a serious blow to our project.  It slowed down everything.   I made a job change and began to work for JTS Property Management.  During my time there, we specialized in extreme commercial and residential inclusive developments.  I specialized on the Perkins Rowe and Rouzan projects.   My main function was acting as a property manager.  By this time I was about finished with my studies at LSU and was planning for the future.

In searching for jobs, I landed an interview in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The thought of the city alone had me very excited.  I graduated and immediately went to work.  I took the job in New Orleans.  It was with a company by the name of GNO Property Management.  My role was to manage condominiums in the Uptown New Orleans area.  I immediately fell in love with this town.  As a manager, the company required that I obtain a real estate license.  I did not realize what this meant in my story at the time.

I managed a total of 189 individual units, a portfolio valued at over $15 million.  At the same time, I started to dabble in the real estate market.  As a young, inexperienced agent, it was hard to come by any solid business.  My first opportunity was a lease.  My close contact between the owners of the units I managed provided me with the perfect relationships for someone looking to start a real estate career.  It took about 7 months before I ever sold anything, but I was hooked and totally in love with the real estate market.

I left GNO Property Management to pursue a full time real estate career.  I parked my real estate license at Keller Williams Realty New Orleans.  Our office is located Uptown, in the Riverbend area of the city.   I sold a house within 2 weeks as an agent.  I have continuously been named a top producer.  I strive to better myself and I absolutely love my work.

An Agent of Value

I have worked in the Real Estate Industry for the past 10 years, encompassing everything from residential and commercial construction, property management, association management, and now, residential sales and leasing.

The search for a home is an emotionally charged process! Expectations run high and a let down can be harsh.  Compromises will be made and surprises will be abundant!  An agent does not only assist in the search and purchase of a home.  They guide and counsel based on their past experiences.  I find the rewards are better for everyone when there is a general desire to help each other.

My office is one of the most prestigious and notable offices in our city.  This is attributed to the cohesive relationships between agents and excellent leadership.  We meet frequently to discuss market trends and strategy.  We continuously out perform the other offices in our market.

I have been named a top producer for listing volume and volume of sales.  This was achieved equally between representation of buyers and sellers.  This success is attributed to constantly analyzing market conditions, coaching, being involved in office discussions, and communication with other agents in our market center.

Keller Williams Realty care’s about us (the agents) and they also care about our clients.  They offer tools and knowledge for us, so that we can help you and they provide resources to you, so you can help yourself!  Again, a real estate search is emotionally charged!  The rewards are amazing!  My job is to be available and offer guidance.  My career experience will come into play when we have to make decisions.  You know what you want, and I want to help you get it.

I have taken what I learned from my predecessors and colleagues and fine-tuned it into what I believe works best for me and my clients.  I have uploaded these findings into my business strategy.  Buyers want a house! Sellers want results!  A good agent does their best to smoothly facilitate this.
